Vardorvis axe skip help

I can legit perfect the entire fight until o'l buddy throws 3 axes head on or at my feet then i just get destroyed. I've looked up guides but no one really explains when to click just where to click. whenever i don't get hit by his axes i can get 2 kill trips easy but if i have to axe skip then im a 1 trip Andy. I need some help because these fee's are getting out of hand... please help a noob
