It feels impossible to face a normal group of survivors
Lately I've been trying to play the normal queues, and it seems like all that I face now are the sweatiest groups of survivors, that are impossible to mindgame, play every single loop perfectly, and royally abuse the absurd amount of pallets in the game now. Not to mention having basically zero downtime on gens, and it all culminates in matches that last barely any time while leading to no kills, or one if I'm lucky and camp someone at the end.
I'm trying to be reasonable and understand it's generally a skill issue to some degree, but the vast amount of matches lately where it feels like I need to be playing literally perfectly to even have a chance is just making it harder and harder to wanna keep trying. Ironically, the only place I get fairly reasonable matches, or those where matchmaking is balanced towards me, are playing the event queue, and we all know the issues with that mode.
I imagine this is just a high mmr issue at this point, but it's seriously disheartening to just never feel like I can get a proper lead in any match regardless of what I do. Even if I can eventually catch someone going through 4 pallets, if I'm not playing a strong killer with mobility to disrupt gens, then I've already lost 2 or 3 gens by the first down.
These things are slightly alleviated if I play the stronger killers, but even then it requires me to put full effort in to succeed, and it's just outright impossible to play with even the slightest attempt of messing around anymore.
This is pretty much just salty venting I suppose, I know it's mostly just the sort of thing I need to improve to beat, but it just feels generally unwinnable lately. I've only really been able to succeed playing like a bastard, which seems to be what's necessary against these good teams, and even then the rescue squads are some of the most frustrating things to deal with, tunneling or not.
