[TOMT][SONG][2010s-2020s] Slow male indie/pop song with a lyric like "It hurts me that I'm hurting you" and a green forest YouTube thumbnail
Hi everyone,
I’m trying to find a niche song I remember listening to around 2022 (though it could be slightly older, likely released between 2017–2022).
Here is everything I am 100% sure about:
- The Singer: It is a male singer.
- The Tempo: It is a slow, relaxed song.
- The Lyric / Concept: The core theme of the song (or a prominent line) is the singer expressing guilt about hurting their partner. The line is something very close to: "It hurts me that I'm hurting you" or "It hurts me to hurt you".
- The YouTube Thumbnail: It was a static, non-moving image of a green forest/nature/trees. (This is the absolute thing that I'm 1000% sure about )
Here are some details I am fairly sure about but could be slightly misremembering:
- The Genre/Sound: It felt like slow indie pop, dream pop, or chill trap. It might have a similar atmospheric, slow, driving bassline and synth-breezy groove to Post Malone's "Circles", rather than being just a simple acoustic guitar or piano ballad.
- Popularity: It is likely a niche song. Not a massive Billboard Hot 100 radio hit, but probably had a few million views or less on YouTube.
