Timeline mix up & regret - will my wedding feel rushed?

Vendors/Venue

Hi everyone. I just sent my wedding invites, with doors opening at 4:30 and ceremony at 5:00. The ceremony should be about 20 minutes, with cocktail hour and reception following. Everything is at the same location (ceremony space turned reception during cocktail hour).

Due to several large events happening in our city during the wedding weekend, my photographer + fiancé and I decided on 5:00 so we’d have enough time for a first look, private vows, and photos, including those with immediate family. We’re taking pics at 2:00 at a location ~20 minutes from our venue and another location near our venue.

However, I have since realized we have 7 hours of DJ time, not 6. I have been dealing with a lot of personal issues and was rushing to get our invites out, so I didn’t fully consult our vendors about the timeline. We have a hard stop at 11:00, although I called my venue and they said we could do a last dance around ~11:10 as long as guests are out by 11:30. My caterer also said they can plate salads during cocktail hour so dinner speeds up and we maximize time on the dance floor.

I just can’t help feeling like I’m not getting my money’s worth or taking advantage of all hours on my wedding day — I know it’ll fly by! My fiance thinks that if we changed it, we would’ve been sad if we had to rush through our vows and photos, and we are planning to go elsewhere for an after party anyways. I know it’s too late to adjust timing, but should we make it more clear on our wedding website about the prompt 5:00 ceremony time? Is this timeline going to feel rushed?

Any advice, reassurance, and best practices appreciated. Thank you!!!
