First Road Trip!

This week I took my first road trip with my 2025 Premium Plus CX-5. We drove about 1500 miles round trip and the ride was wonderful! I have never enjoyed driving a car more. The car averaged 31 mpg which was a little lower than I was used to with my 2016 HRV. But the tank is bigger than my HRV so it meant I didn’t need to fill up as often which I appreciated. Pros: The car was nimble in traffic and I was able to zip around as needed. The ventilated seats were a nice feature with the super hot temps outside. The trunk had plenty of room for all our things. I had to sit in the backseat at one point (my husband was driving and my mom was in the front passenger seat) and the backseat was very comfortable. Cons: The wireless charger was creating too much heat so we turned the feature off and used wired cords. The maps on apple and android car play had some quirks, and the seats themselves were a little hard. The car has less than 5k miles, so hopefully they will soften with time. I also think my mom was sick of hearing how much I love my car. 😎🤣
