I’m 19yo and usually hesitant to ask for advice especially on here but I genuinely want to know how to style my hair or what hair suits me better. I don’t need a pep talk most “children” on here would preach to me, whether it’s about how being feminine isn’t good or I should masculinize myself. This is who I am, I just want styling advice and what would go good with my features as I gravitate toward a more soft boy vibe. For context I have naturally straight hair and have been thinking about growing it out more. I usually hand curl my hair with heated diffuser and use curl cream and sea salt spray to do so, dipping my head down after a shower and scrunching it with my diffuser . Sometimes the curls get so crazy so I brush it out to get a flowy wave instead of curls. Although I can only get my hair to how I want for a single day before it naturally middle parts and I loose all volume. Also the wind just destroys my hair no matter how much product in. I got a perm last week as seen in the last pic a simple body wave but I don’t know how to style it and I can never get it all connected and seamless. Does anyone have any tips as well as what hair style would suit me best. I’ve added some pics of my hair flat unstyled, how it looked pre perm when I hand curled it, and then the last which is post perm. I don’t think I should go shorter but I’d still like to hear opinions. Thanks so much! Also for those who do read to the end, I am also lean bulking to gain more weight to even out my frame.
