Honest questions being downvoted

I’m in another subreddit with a specific flare for questions. Every single post under that flair, regardless of tone, content, or the nature of the question, is downvoted to hell.

Which is so weird, because the replies are always polite and helpful with very little hate, but still. Ya ask a question you get downvoted. I find it very strange.

I get it if it’s easily googlable shit like ‘what does (word) mean?’ But in my experience all questions seem to get this treatment.
