I cant find good spots to climb

In my area there are only transmission towers(I dont have the guts for them) and cranes in the middle of where lots of people live. Advice on how to climb them or tips on how to find better spots like long line towers would be greatly appreaciated (ps im not directly asking for spots im asking for advice on how to find them)
