I just wanna graduate man
Context:
I'm already at my final semester in my bachelor's degree. Idk what happened to me but I just got a very bad day on the final paper for this one elective subject. My continuous marks are also very poor. There's a high likely chance I'll fail the subject. Throughout my 4 years here, I haven't failed any subject yet so it sucks I got stuck at the very end. Is it an excuse for my poor performance? Of course not. In fact, I probably deserve a failing grade for how bad I answered that paper. I might have to retake in the special semester and receive my graduation slip late.
Problem:
I got a job offer already and they're already waiting for me to give them my graduation slip. I'm not able to join without actually graduating. They gave me time until october. But the problem is the special semester finishes at the very end of september and I'm not even sure if I could receive my graduation slip immediately too. I might miss my only chance securing a job I really want.
Question:
The anxiety is killing me. I know that nothing is guaranteed yet and I should wait for my results. But I've already thought of wanting to give this context to my lecturer and maybe ask her to be more lenient with marking my paper. I also thought of rechecking my paper in case I failed while also giving the context so perhaps the recheck can also be lenient. Another option is to explain my situation to the company that offered me the job. But that would be such a bad impression to them. So genuinely, I'm asking for reassurance, solutions, and whatever that can help ease my mind about this. Thank you for reading.
