W dad W life

So after my NEET, I came to Bangalore for a few days to visit my older brother and relax a bit. My dad suggested that since I'm already here, I should also check out Ooty, Mysore, Coonoor, etc.

Today I called him and told him I'd already booked my tickets and stays for Ooty and was leaving tomorrow.

His response genuinely gave me goosebumps.

He goes:

"Beta, Goa paas mein hai. Wahan bhi chale jao."

I'm 19.

I just froze for a second.

Before I could even process that, he casually continued:

"Uske baad Mumbai bhi paas hi hai. Wahan jaake didi se bhi mil lena."

(she's my very distant cousin who's basically a really good friend.)

Meanwhile I'm standing there wondering... since when did my Indian dad unlock the "open-world exploration" DLC? 😭

I was fully expecting a lecture about saving money and coming straight home cs it has already been like 12 days since i left home. Instead, the man is out here planning my India tour.
