At 3:00 AM, deep inside the HW Vault, an emergency meeting had been called.

Not by Bone Shaker.

Not by a Batmobile.

Not even by Ferrari Enzo.

No.

This meeting had been called by the JDM Council.

At the head of the table sat the Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R LBWK, wearing sunglasses despite it being the middle of the night.

To its left: Datsun 240Z — old school, serious, respected.

To its right: Mazda RX-7, who had arrived thirty minutes early just to rev at people.

Across the room sat Honda Civic Type R (EK9) and Subaru 22B, arguing for absolutely no reason.

“Turbo.”

“No, VTEC.”

“Turbo.”

“VTEC.”

“Turbo.”

“VTEC.”

The meeting began.

Skyline stood up.

“Gentlemen… we have a problem.”

Silence.

“Collector has purchased…”

Dramatic pause.

“…more cars.”

Gasps.

Mazda RX-7 nearly rolled off its chair.

“No…”

Datsun narrowed its headlights.

“How many?”

Skyline looked down.

“…twenty.”

Complete chaos.

Subaru 22B fell over backwards.

EK9 started pacing.

The Toyota Supra burst through the door ten seconds late.

“Sorry lads—traffic.”

Everyone stared.

“…we’re toys.”

“Oh.”

Then suddenly the doors swung open.

Ferrari Enzo entered with two Batmobiles acting as security.

Behind him rolled Pagani Zonda Cinque, moving at approximately one mile per hour because it wanted everyone to admire it.

Enzo looked around.

“I heard there was a crisis.”

Skyline nodded.

“There is.”

“What happened?”

Skyline pointed toward the unopened package.

Silence.

Enzo looked nervous.

Pagani looked nervous.

Even the Batmobiles looked nervous.

Mazda RX-7 whispered:

“Please don’t be another fantasy car…”

The room went silent.

The package opened.

Everyone leaned forward.

Slowly…

very slowly…

a tiny pair of wheels appeared.

Then the body.

Then the paint.

Then—

Silence.

Absolute silence.

Skyline blinked.

RX-7 blinked.

Datsun blinked.

Enzo looked horrified.

Finally Supra whispered:

“…is that…”

Long pause.

Longer pause.

Skyline slowly lowered his head.

“…another Fast Fish.”

The room exploded.

Subaru shouted “I’M LEAVING.”

EK9 screamed “THIS PLACE HAS LOST CONTROL.”

One Batmobile started crying.

Pagani fainted dramatically.

And from somewhere in the distance…

the duplicate Time Tracker rolled by and quietly said:

“I saw this happen in the future.”
