DON'T JOIN NCU GURUGRAM

Colleges or Schools :emoji26:

I spent 4 years at NCU Gurugram, and if I could go back in time, I'd seriously reconsider my decision.

  • Faculty: Very inconsistent. A few professors are genuinely good, but most just read from PPTs. End mein self-study hi karni padti hai.
  • Placements: Way too much hype. Highest package is used for marketing, Placements were honestly one of my biggest disappointments. From what I personally saw, most students weren't getting the kind of offers the college's marketing made me expect. A lot of the opportunities seemed to be on the lower-paying side(the vast majority of students I knew ended up with packages in the 3–4 LPA range.), and the highest packages highlighted by the college didn't reflect the experience of the average student. If you're joining expecting exceptional placements just because of the advertisements, I'd suggest talking to current students before making a decision.
  • Fees vs ROI: The fees are high for what you actually get. Doesn't feel worth the money at all.
  • Facilities: Campus looks fancy during admission, but maintenance isn't great. Wi-Fi issues, expensive food, and some labs don't match the expectations.
  • Management: Communication can be slow and sometimes it feels like student concerns aren't taken seriously.
  • Crowd: You cannot really expect a good crowd in tier 3 colleges of ncr but I personally found a lot of students to be more focused on showing off, social media, and appearances than on academics or building skills. Of course, there are hardworking and genuinely nice people too, but they felt like the minority in my experience. If you're looking for a competitive academic environment where everyone is motivated, you might be disappointed.
  • Overall, if you're thinking of joining just because of the campus or advertisements, I'd suggest doing a lot more research first. Fancy buildings don't guarantee good education or placements. Bas campus dekh ke admission mat lena.
