After the alchemist successfully turned himself into a Melusine and managed to talk Iudex Neuvilette into placing a bounty on Aang. The man was spotted escaping to the deserts of Sumeru. However he was successful in his endeavor the Court of Fontaine along with the adventures guild had reviewed the criminal record that Edward Elric had given. The file contained records of crimes that this “Aang” person committed such as arson, tribal genocide, mass property damage, destroying the dreams of a humble cabbage merchant, attempting to befriend a tyrant named Ozai, poisoning the waters near Merusea Village, and killing another man also named Edward Elric. Thus the court and guild has officially issued Aang as a wanted man in and outside of Fontaine. However Edward Elric was still guilty of improper use of alchemy and impersonating a Melusine, thus the court has labeled him a wanted man on Fontaine ground with his own bounty. It was speculated that he would be dealing with a 3 month imprisonment in the Fortress of Meropide. While Aang was suspected of a lifetime imprisonment with no chance of parole or even the death sentence. A fatui harbinger known as the Doctor has also expressed his opinion in the matter, stating that should Aang be arrested he would like to have him sent to a Snezhnayan prison.
