Maggot infestation
If ur pet or any animal is infected with maggots please don't ever go to VETERINARY COLLEGE, HEBBAL, BANGALORE🙏🏻. I found a stray cat whose arm was affected with maggots and they decided to amputate it without even taking an x ray to see how far it has spread. Within a week of amputation the cat passed away because maggots continued to spread even in the stomach region and it was fully converted in pus and the doctor who performed the surgery and handled the case throughout was DR ABHISHEK,mvsc, from surgery department. We took a lot of care using training pads to prevent its wound from being infected by urine. Just two days after surgery they called for dressing but instead removed the bandage and a day before it's death maggots were still crawling in the stomach and even then the doctor kept blaming us that we let the urine touch the wound and when asked about the crawling maggots he said "yes, it is still there" . We spent close to ten thousand just to save him and they did not even perform the surgery in the right way. They do not take responsibility and the student doctors decided not to call the superior on the on the last day we went. They simply try to put the blame on us instead of accepting that they failed to do surgery in the right way and did not even follow the protocol. If ur pet or any animal ever faces maggot infection please do not bring them here!!🙏🏻🙏🏻 worst experience!
