Should I choose a ddr4 or ddr5 build.

I just got a 9070xt and realized that my cpu bottlenecks REALLY bad. Realizing this, I have done research and realized that I will have to probably save at LEAST until next year to get a cpu, motherboard, and ram for the thing if I want ddr5… how much worse really is ddr4, I’m really thinking of just going with a budget build of some kind that’ll last for like 3-4 years and saving, is that a stupid idea?
