How to fix Frozen Touchscreen for Samsung A25 5g Phone

Hello, my friend has had a Samsung a25 phone for 1 year, 6 months. He has used this phone consistently until Friday 3rd July, whereafter his phone system updated: his phone's touchscreen is no longer working, being completely frozen.

We've done the following actions in attempt to fix this issue, including: Soft Reset, Safe Mode; Sorting the SIM card. None of which have fixed this issue. His charger & charger port is also working on both his phone, but also my own: which hasn't affected it.

Is there anything else we could do before he has to get professional support to fix his phone? It'd be much appreciated if someone could help please.
