Would you use an app that turns your goals + market data into a simple investing game plan?

I’ve been exploring to build something in the finance/ investing space.

The problem I keep noticing is that a lot of people are interested in investing, but they don’t really know how to connect all the dots. There’s too much noise, too much content, youtube, FT, LinkedIn, Reddit etc and too many stock screener apps, so i wanted to build something that combines everything and shares a game plan

The idea I’m exploring is a product that would:

  • take in basic info about you like your goals, risk appetite, time horizon, and the markets you want exposure to
  • build a simple investing game plan based on that profile
  • suggest possible categories to look into, like ETFs, commodities, sectors, etc.
  • explain the risk level of that plan in a simple way
  • then send weekly updates based on market and macro changes, showing whether that plan still broadly makes sense or needs to be adjusted

So for example, if someone is long-term and relatively conservative, it might lean more toward broad ETFs or lower-risk categories. If someone wants more growth and can tolerate volatility, it may highlight different areas. The idea is less “buy this right now” and more “here’s a structured plan and how to think about changes over time.”

It would be more of an educational investing companion than a trading app.

A few quick questions:

  • Would you use something like this? and pay for it as well?
  • Does this sound genuinely helpful or just like another AI wrapper?
  • What would make you trust it?

Would love honest feedback, even if the answer is no.
