Why the frickety frack is everything on the website so darn TINY?!

Seriously, everything is so SMALL. I gotta pay attention to click the tiny watch and like buttons. The buttons everywhere are minuscule and the UI lacks contrast. Everything is this weird bluish-grey and the text is a lighter bluish-grey. And there are no convenient keyboard shortcuts to like go through a list and mark stuff quickly. How is a website this popular this shit?
