Is it that easy to get a drink at a convenience store in Tokyo?

I am extremely jet legged tired and just want a singular beer, I’m seeing mixed answers on Tokyo and if they card you or not with some saying it’s exceptionally rare for them to card you and others saying they will. I’m 18 fyi can’t speak a lick of Japanese but I’m also half Asian so ig I seem kinda foreign. But seriously just want a beer after my 11 hour flight😭 any input is appreciated.
