what do you look for in an ai photo enhancer before trusting it with old or low quality images?
i have been testing a few ai photo enhancement tools recently, mostly for old family photos and images that came out blurry or noisy.
the results can look impressive at first, but i am still trying to understand what actually makes one tool better than another. for example, some tools sharpen faces too aggressively, change the original colors, or create details that were never really there.
i came across artguru while comparing options because it offers photo enhancement, upscaling, old photo restoration, and background removal in one place. i am curious whether anyone here has tried it or similar tools.
when you use an ai enhancer, what matters most to you: keeping the photo natural, getting better resolution, restoring faces, or having more manual control over the result?
also, are there any tools you trust for photos you do not want to overprocess?
