Why I Think "Giving Women" Are Setting Themselves Up for Toxic Relationships

Okay… not sure if this is a general consensus or a hot take, but relationships where one person (especially women) becomes the ‘givers’ fails miserably. It will ultimately make the other person using and emotionally draining the ‘giver’ and ultimately becoming a toxic relationship.

I kind of lowkey blame the giver for this. The other person obviously took advantage and is definitely the bad person (in terms of the relationship status), but who let it happen? Should have understood that the first place that the other person is clearly taking advantage of you and must either call it out or end the relationship. And if this continues for a long time (as in the giver believing the other person would change) the higher chance is the relationship is already dead (no coming back from this).

So my hot take is (slightly sexist)… any relationship when the girl becomes the giver, the higher chance for it to become really toxic with time. Guys should be the givers and must take the bigger efforts (not just the beginning phase but throughout, and this should be a dealbreaker for all the ladies). Either both should equally be the givers (this will never happen) or guys should be.
