[Web] Forge — AI food logging + adaptive calorie targets + AI workout builder (free beta, looking for testers)
App name: Forge
Link: fitdaily.app
Platform: Web (installs like an app on iOS/Android too — App Store/Play Store listing not live yet)
Price: Free during beta, no account or signup required
What it does: Describe a meal in plain English and it logs calories/macros via AI (barcode scan also available). Calorie targets adapt over time based on your actual weight trend rather than a static formula. On the training side it's a full system, not a bolted-on feature: it remembers your session-to-session history (pain/watch-areas, what felt too easy or hard, skipped lifts), computes exact progression from your actual logged lifts, balances weekly volume across muscle groups, and explains its reasoning for each workout instead of just listing exercises. Nutrition and training are connected too — recovery state and today's food intake feed into what workout it builds, and training feeds back into calorie math.
Looking for feedback on:
- Whether the AI food-logging estimates feel accurate for your typical meals
- Whether the adaptive calorie target logic makes sense / feels trustworthy once it kicks in (takes ~7 days of logging)
- Any confusing onboarding steps or rough UI edges
- Whether the training system's progression/volume-balancing suggestions feel reasonable given your actual training history
- Whether the nutrition-training connection (recovery/food affecting workouts, workouts affecting calorie targets) feels genuinely useful or just noisy
No account needed to try it, so there's no friction to just open it and poke around. Will respond to every comment here.
