AITA for telling my ex about something he doesn't remember?

YTA

Okay so my ex boyfriend and I had an on again off again type of relationship a couple years ago. We also kept in touch on and off. He's chronically online so he might see this so I may exclude a couple of details.

So our relationship was mostly good which is why we kept in touch. We broke up the first time for silly reasons and also because he couldn't support me during a difficult time and the second time also because he couldn't support me during a difficult time. We kept in touch because we've always had love for each other. For me it was mostly that I care for him. For him idk, he sometimes spoke of me and my future like he should be in it, like he'd make scenarios of my future up.. it was a bit odd but oh well.

Anyways, we're catching up over the phone and he asks me about a time when we were together and I literally fled his place. We'd been high and he commented something and it put me into a panic and I called my friend to help me leave. I later told him I had that reaction because not too long before that, my former friends had put me in an unsafe situation that made me very distrustful of everyone's intentions.

!Now at the beginning of our relationship the very first time, we had sex, I wasn't ready. We were in the middle of foreplay but that's all it was supposed to be. He asked to put the tip in and because I wasn't ready for sex I kept saying "no, it's too soon" but also I didn't resist and we ended up having sex.!< We continued to have a healthy sexual relationship and loving relationship all together.

Later, before the second time we were together, I was in a similar situation that I WOULD define as >!coerced sex!< and treated as such, which also made me more acutely aware of what had happened during the very first time my ex and I had sex.

So now on this phone call when he asked me AGAIN about that night when I left his place, I took it as an opportunity to also tell him about my POV of the first time we were together. He initially was just shocked and didn't say much. Then he started badgering me and the way he kept asking things I was feeling overwhelmed and like I couldn't even get a word in to explain what I said. I told him I wasn't accusing him of anything, that I was just trying to reconcile what I felt regarding my boundaries. He asked why I hadn't said anything and also whether that's what I thought of him the entirety of our relationship. I assured him that I didn't, that I just vividly remember saying no and it happening anyway. Then he started to get mad. Imo he took everything completely out of context. He said that he took time to reflect and he doesn't think he could ever do anything like that, he insisted, "so you're saying that you said no and I ... and HAD MY WAY WITH YOU". At this point I was mad that he was not listening to anything I was saying so I just said that that's what I said but it wasn't what I was saying at all.

I hung up on him. He messaged me to call me messed up and said that there's always something with me. I thumbs up and blocked him.

I never spoke about it because I never really understood what it was and I thought maybe that we could untangle it together, I didn't ask for an admission of guilt or even an apology. I wasn't even there to accuse him of anything because I REPEATEDLY said that, we had a great relationship. I just wanted to say what had been on my mind for many years. I think deep down I knew he wouldn't take it well which is why I never brought it up, but then again that's never an easy topic.

I feel he completely missed ANY POINT that I was making and now I don't think we're ever going to speak again, which tbh with how he reacted, I'm relieved about. So was I the asshole for bringing this up years later?

TL.DR: I told my ex years later, that our first time together may not have been consensual. He didn't take it well.
