About AI, consent, reproducing work, etc.

One more post this morning, because I got worked up about something (not in a good way).

Just wanted to make a post about AI, using other people's works without their permission, stealing content, etc. This post isn't directed at anyone here (unless you're doing any of these things, which I don't think anyone is), this is just more "man yelling at clouds." 😅

I've heard people post about individuals and sites that scrape content, put it all behind a paywall, or just repurpose it without consent, etc. There are people out there using AI to reproduce people's scripts and voices, and that fucking sucks.

I know it's already happening in everything else, but for someone to come to something like this, that people pour their time and intimacy into, and say "Hey, lemme just have a computer reproduce that!" Fuck you. You suck. Bad decision.

I just get very frustrated with whatever the correct term is, the LLM AI stuff (porn-related or not), where it's essentially all built on the theft of human labor, creativity, and work. And to boot, someone is then profiting off of it or trying to.

Here in this weird NSFW audio/video space, plenty of people make no money at it. Probably the majority possibly? Obviously some people become quite successful at it and good for them. But plenty of people probably do it as a side hustle to maybe make a little extra money, or again, plenty of people just make stuff for funsies.

Anyway, if you ever see anything of mine being reposted in a shady way, behind a paywall, or used in some AI thing, feel free to let me know. It is appreciated.

The trigger for this post was just stumbling across a thing on Reddit and going down that rabbit hole just a bit. Stuff like that makes me reconsider posting sometimes. If I had total control over what I post and what happens to it (not getting stolen) that's one thing. But obviously I don't.
