Berdly is the knight

I'll start with my argument saying that berdly and the knight have many similiarities, starting of with theme, which is a consistent drum. Smart race is also a heartbeat, which becomes more apparant as the weird route battle follows.

The knight horns are similar position wise to berdly's dark world horns, shoulder pauldrons, and diaper looking thing, like the berdly statue.

You dumbass, the holidays have horns, yeah, but they're not diagonal. They're always vertical.

The knight's mouth looks like a beak. We fight two rooks in chapter 3 and 4, one a raven and another a tower. We fight 8 pawns in chapter 5.

The knight isn't THE knight, but a huge black bird.

Biggest evidence are attack patterns being themed after triangles, red lines and an association with wind.

Also berdly halberd has an eye inspired by a peacock, and the knight has one huge eye, implying that it's simply just a couple feathers of berdly.

Berdly keeps his feathers hidden, and eyes covered by darkness see all.

The peacock sees all.

The peacock knows all.

The peacock remembers your snowgraves.

The queens chariot (rook) can not be stopped.

Just kidding, but imagine berdly is the one that remembers every reset.

Also berdly is secretly rich and his family send him to hilbilly county for enrichment and could easily pass as best looking student of the bunch.

If you think that's out of nowhere, queen is similar to berdly's mom which is why he was desperate for affection.

Berdly's mom is a teacher in undertale, and toriel is a teacher in deltarune, so berdly's mom is either super loaded, famous, or actual royalty.

This explains why berdly's rejected theme has a royal theme to it.

So basically, our favourite bluebird with self esteem issues is at the very least hidin his aces.

Also explains why rudy was protective, because noelle would be "marrying" upwards. Not that berdly was ever interested in her.

The reason as to why (meaning the knight business), i'll explain.

In noelle's blog, berdly asks to be a moderator because he thinks the current ones suck.

This causes kris, who is Noelle's friend (also moderator), to prank call berdly out of offense, because the dimwit bird isn't actually good with machines adds his phonenumber to his account.

Noelle politely refuse and gives a barefaced lie that she can't make him moderator since her computer is glitchin. Somehow, berdly deletes his minecrap app, and kris helps him restore it, and they play together. Presumably, he either doesn't know it's kris, or simply doesn't give their name. He does give a link to the server for other to plays with, which is deleted by presumably Kris, who is apparently satisfied just playing alone with Berdly.

Sweet stories aside, i think the opposite is happening here. Berdly is interfering with Kris's larp session with Suzie, and making sure to get rid of adults who might interfere.

In a sense, it's for Kris. They might not be aware it's Berdly though. Or perhaps for Suzie, because berdly knows that Kris doesn't have the best intentions for her, and wants to make sure the two remain friends.

Burgley also means wood shelter, and the famous house in britain is used as a gallery and still used by the cecil family.
