what should i dooooo?

i’m in college. i’ve never pursued a relationship before or even thought about.. until now.

well, there’s this guy. for context, when i first saw him, i was like he reminds me so much of this other guy i had a crush on in school. curly hair, the laugh and all. but i did NOT have a crush on him just because of that.

we had this programme in college where we were dressed up casually for an event. prior to this we did not follow each other on instagram. that evening after the event, i get a follow request. i did get a ton of compliments that day that i looked pretty :) we follow each other and that’s it.. no intro no conversation.

follow up to next week it’s his bday.. his friends post stories for him and im like he’s a batchmate so i should wish him.. i dm him happy birthday. i get a thank you and a “i wanna tell u something but i don’t want him to seem out of pocket”.. i ask him to tell me and he tells me i looked really pretty during the event the week back.. i saw thanks and that’s that. we are mutual sports fans so we went each other reels and talk about stuff pertaining to that the next couple weeks.

next he texts me out of the blue telling me he wanted to talk to me in person.. but we never really did after that cause i came home following my final week of my first year.

and somewhere along the lines i actually start liking this guy *ughhh*

he has a friend group and they’re people i’ve never really talked to before.. but now i have them approaching me to talk to me and also one time he was on call with his friend who is in my dorm.. she then asks me if i had dinner.. saying that xyz is asking if i did.. and then giggles and continues talking.

i really do like this guy he’s mature he’s got similar interests but the THING is.. he’s got a lot of girl space friends… i don’t know if i should be concerned.. i don’t know if he’s a flirt who just keeps dming all these girls and i just happen to be one of them…

advice pleaseeee
