Fencing Power First vs. Fencing Power Sword on Bulwark

Which one do we prefer? In terms of aesthetics, I don't mind either, and I don't really mind superman-punching the disgusting xenos or slicing them apart. But is the fencing power sword that much faster and better with light attacks?

Note: I prefer the Hard Tank build over the shock trooper/block/charge attack playstyle by a mile. I'd rather parry and gunstrike all day.
