Anyone else have nothing to lose?
You know how people often say "stop for your family/friends/whatever"?
I don't have that. I don't have any relationships, minus the family that thinks I'm faking being a depressed addict.
So, not much to lose there. But that's not really the point.
I don't have a job to lose. I'm not going to lose a high-paying job, or a loving spouse. Anhedonia has already taken all my hobbies, so don't have those to lose either. I don't have friends to stop for, or kids to be around for.
I guess I'm losing money, but money doesn't matter if I just drink myself out of existence. I guess I'm losing my health, but if I cared about the health effects of drugs I wouldn't be doing them, duh.
The point is that there wouldn't be anyone to miss me. I could ruin my life aaaaaall I want and the only consequences would be that I'd be suffering--which already happens when I drink. No one knows I exist, except my family - who, again, do not care.
Except for paying taxes, I effectively don't exist. I'm already dead. I have nothing to lose.
Getting sober again now. What do sober people say instead of cheers
