I came to terms with the fact I was assaulted.
I was assaulted about two years ago, on new year's. My boyfriend was drunk and we were supposed to be asleep. We were in a room with his friends, and one of them even had to chastise us because we were making noise. I was trying to get him to stop groping me, and he wouldn't stop, not until we went to the bathroom hours later and I cried. I just wanted to sleep, and he kept waking me up. Then I felt awful, because instead of just hugging me or reassuring me, when we came back to bed he turned away from me, like a beaten dog. I felt like an asshole at the time, and I still do sometimes. I just wanted to sleep hugging each other. Why did it have to be sexual? Why didn't he stop until I was crying in the bathroom?
I'm leaving him, today I think, I can't think of staying with someone who assaulted me anymore. I won't bring this up because it wouldn't do anything, but I'm leaving him.
