Can i take my Cockatoo to work?

I dont have a bird yet. I'm saving up for at least 10k to buy one because i know they're expensive, so im waiting until i have 10k to start.

I want a cockatoo - still looking at my options, but i know my mother and I want a cockatoo. I know theyre social- And i do have a lot of free time. I work as a coach for gymnastics and all-star cheerleading (The team i coach is a tiny, young novice team with children from 2-6 years old). So i dont work long periods- My main concern is leaving the bird alone at home when i go to work. while im not at work long, i, myself get extremley attarched to animals and companions and dont like to leave them alone.

My boss is fine with me bringing an animal to work, but im concerned about how the bird would interact there. Would it be aggressive or stressed? I did hear that they're extremely social around humans, but im more worried about the change in environment.. I dont know if this is a silly question or not, and im willing to give more info if needed.
