How do you find the time?
My problem: I have found a routine but not the time to do it! And I dont know how to sleep on it or fix it once it gets unruly.
Background: I have wavy hair that air dries into a poofy mess that looks awful. I usually wear it in a messy bun that doesnt look very nice, or I occasionally straighten it, which I don't like to do because of the damage to my already dry hair.
I have found a decent wavy hair routine that gives good results for my dry, medium to fine wavy hair, which seems to have a medium to high porosity. Its still a little unruly but looks so much better than my frizzy mess!
How and when?: I usually work out in the evening and need to shower at night before bed to get rid of the sweat. But when I do my hair at night its a mess in the morning. Do I need to restart the whole process again in the morning? Shower twice a day?
Mornings are usually pretty rushed for me. Is there any other way to fix the hair in the morning more quickly? Do I go to work with wet hair and hope for the best? How often do I need to do this to have nice hair every day? Please share your wisdom.
The routine:
-
Condition then wash hair using renpure tea tree oil line, but use head and shoulders once a week.
-
Condition again without rinsing it all out. (Currently using aussie waves or renpure).
-
Dry lightly with a tshirt.
-
A little bit of mousse on very damp hair
-
Air dry mostly, but a little diffusing to help speed it up.
-
Help train any waves that are getting unruly by wrapping and curling around my finger while still wet. (Not perfected as some parts still breakaway)
