Gemini is "going to take a break to reassemble" because of widespread misinformation

The CEO of Google and Alphabet, Sundar Pichai, confirmed on this Saturday that Google Gemini is not longer working well enough to "sufficiently provide high-quality information" to its users, thanks to large misinformation campaigns on the internet. Pichai announced that Gemini is set to undergo a complete overhaul, with a relaunch planned for the second quarter of 2027. This step back may be a result of severe backlash from millions of Google users due to the significant amount of misinformation on the search engine, which has become a growing legal and PR problem for the company.
