Looking for an international partner for my final oral exam (French International Baccalaureate-English Section)

Hello everyone!

I am currently a French high school student who is preparing for the final oral exam in ''Connaissance du Monde'' (Global Issues) for my French International Baccalaureate (BFI)-English Section. As for my English level, I recently reached C1 after passing the C1 Cambridge Exam.

My project is focused on foreign languages. I am planning to focus on the issue: ''How did English spread and influence other languages spoken in the world in the past and how is it still going on in the present?''. I am looking for an international partner from the UK (or any other English-speaking country). It could help providing an international perspective for my presentation. Ideally, you are an English teacher, interpreter, translator or any professional experienced in the multilingual sphere. The idea is simply to be able to have a short online exchange with a professional through some messages. Your perspectives would help me understand better and more precisely the spread and influence of English on other languages, while covering the past, but also the present.

While there is no financial compensation and this project is purely for academic purposes, I would be really grateful for your time and would appreciate your contribution!
