I'm stuck in city of tears help

I'm stuck in the bit with the lady on the bench. I have no idea where to go - I can't get out of this area, i've tried everywhere and I'm just locked in here. I got here after dying to the Mantis lord, and tried to go back to the Mantis lord, but went the wrong route it seems and ended up here? Now i'm just stuck in here please help
