Escitalopram and libido

Hey all, I was already on ativan but was prescribed escitalopram, long story short, it worked for my anxiety somehow but mostly fora small depression I was in.

Thing is, I lost my penis, literally. I became totally without libido and even lost lenght when I was hard. Anyway I went on a small vacation of maybe a week with wifey, and I somehow forgot my box of medications, including the pram. I kid you not, after 3-4 of days of not taking it I masturbated like 5 times and made my wife orgasm twice in a day.

What is wrong with that medication that it totally annihilates the sex part of your brain?

Something else I had is I felt very lucid and suddenly wanted to get things done.

Sorry, I had to vent.

I'm debating right now if I should ditch it. I am not sure what withdrawals are. I don't want to consult a doctor; they like to fill you up with pills and will tell me just to stay on it.
