Has anybody been mistaken to be a boxer or boxer briefs wearer by someone else?

A few months ago, I was at the hospital for a scan of my legs and when I get to the room, the nurse says “I will leave for a few minutes to let you undress. Take your pants off, but keep your boxers and your socks on and cover yourself with this white cloth” to which I immediately responded with “I’m not wearing boxers” and she just looked at me and asked “what are you wearing” and I responded with “briefs”. She then said “that’s fine”. She walked out and I got undressed down to my Fruit of the Loom tighty whities. Nothing else was said about underwear after but I really wonder if she thought anything of it when she saw me wearing tighty whities.
