Built myself a scheduling tool at my EA job - wondering if it would be useful to anyone else or just me?? [London, UK]
I'm an EA in London, working in PE/VC for the past 5 years or so. PE is very external relationships based and I spent so long cross referencing calendars and typing out slots manually, so I built a drag and drop scheduling tool that lives as an outlook add-in, dropping the slots into the email with custom formatting. I was surprised by how much time it saved me, I used it alllll the time!
I know obviously calendly and microsoft/google booking links exist, but my execs hate sending scheduling links to important relationships and I agree with them, feels very impersonal.
I figured it could be a tool that other EAs might find useful, but not sure if I'm barking up the wrong tree and solving a problem only I have, so would love to get a bit of feedback from fellow EAs.
Understand self-promo obvs not encouraged in this sub so very happy to share the link to it to anyone who might be interested, just lmk. Would be amazing to have a handful of people from across the world/industries to poke around it and provide some feedback before I launch it, would provide a year free usage to anyone willing to help!
