It has hairline (?) cracks on both sides of the hinge and on the underside of the screen plate has a dent not sure if it would worsen overtime even with careful handling. The unfortunate thing for me is, there seem to be tiny white dots on the underside of the screen 😭I got this for a really good price CIB. Seller told me about the small cracks, told me it’s minor but the dust under the screen wasn’t clarified. Most likely because it had a scratched up screen protector on (I removed it thinking it’s just under the protector).

I’m just gutted about the 3ds condition. Should I try and fix the screen ? Or trade it away for another 3ds with a better condition ? Is it worth fixing the screen if I have no experience? I’m not planning to replace the hinge because I’ve never taken things apart before and it looks daunting. Also if I do end up selling it away, what’s a reasonable price to list it for..Considering its condition ? I got this bundled together with other things so I don’t exactly know how much this item alone is worth 😅 I can’t return it because of the platform I bought it on and I’m not from the US. Returns don’t usually work around here lol.

Hope im allowed to ask this and I am NOT trying selling it here. Im just looking for advice please 😭

I’ve just acquired this pikachu edition XL but…
