A pet’s **Rank** determines its **Damage** and **Health**. *(Critical Damage, Skills, and all other stats remain unchanged.)*
Pets start at **Rank E** and can be upgraded all the way to **Rank SS**.

🔨 **How to Rank Up Your Pets**
To increase a pet’s rank, you’ll need to **merge it at the Pet Fusion Station**.
Ranking up requires:
**Material dropped by Island Boss**
**Credits**
**Arcane Stones** *(required to reach Rank* **Sovereign Core** *(required to reach Rank S)*
Multiple copies of the same pet *(between 4 and 8, depending on the rank).*

⭐ **Rank SS**
Getting a pet to **Rank SS** works differently.
Unlike the lower ranks, **you don’t need 8 copies of the same pet**. Instead, you’ll need:
Your **Rank S** pet.
**5+ other Rank S pets** of your choice.
⚠**️This rule only applies to Rank SS**.
For all lower ranks, you must use copies of the **same pet**.

🟥 **Ascension Plates**
**Ascension Plates** are required to upgrade a pet to **Rank SS**.
There are **4 different types**:
• White
• Purple
• Green
• Red
Each pet requires **5 Ascension Plates**, and the required color depends on the pet.

📖 **You can find the crafting recipes for Ascension Plates in the dedicated section of the Pet Guide.**
