Needing hope

He broke up with me yesterday after five years. We had been through some stuff but had reconciled and then he blindsided me yesterday. He didn’t give me a chance to ask what was happening or what could happen. Earlier in the week he said he didn’t see us as being over and we’d find our way back. But he didn’t give that indication yesterday. What are the chances? Am I giving myself false hope? I adore him and I know he adores me.
