color remover or bleach?

So i’ve been dyeing my hair black/brown/other dark colors for about 3 years now and i decided that i’m tired of it and i wanna bleach my entire head and dye my hair some funky color. my hair is very resilient, i’ve been using heat on it for a long time and i’ve bleached parts of it a couple times and it’s never gotten any severe, permanent damage. anyways- i’m wondering if i should use a color remover (the only brand that’s available to me is colourless) and then bleach, or if i should just bleach it multiple times instead. i’ve used a color remover before and i didn’t really see any difference, so i’m wondering if i would save money+my hairs quality by just bleaching it.
