Where to visit in the US?

I’m from the United States, but I currently live abroad. I’m not looking forward to moving back and I love traveling so I’m trying to think of places that is cool and one of a kind that makes me feel better and something to look forward to when I’m back in the US. I would also love budget friendly options. I love mountains and big cities.
