Should I take divination from a deity with a grain of salt?

I realized recently that all of my tarot divination I’ve done for the past couple years I’ve been working with Athena. Didn’t do it on purpose. It just happened that way and I’d never asked who I was contacting until the other day.

Anyway, I asked her general thoughts, concerns/ direction on me moving cross country with my partner to be closer to his family. My partner told me he wanted to take the reins on moving, packing, and logistics because I’m typically the one to do all of those things and it can be quite exhausting.

When I asked Athena some questions, she said that I should be in charge and that I should take the reins, which I have no desire to do because I’ve done a lot of of that and my partner wants to start carrying more of that weight.

My question is, should I take this divination with a grain of salt because she is the goddess of feminine independence?

My concern is that she’s steering me in the direction of her values which is feminine independence, which I’m all for and agree with, however, I don’t want to be a completely independent driving force within my relationship.

I also understand that I can do what I want with my life. I just know her divination for me has been spot on in the past and I don’t want to ignore it if it’s actually an unbiased opinion.
