Healing process of my rook

I just got my rook pierced on the 30th of last month. I was wondering if it’s still supposed to be throbing? I’ve had 4 other piercings before, two on. each lobe. When I got them, the pain didn’t last this long. With the rook, I can still feel it pulsing even when I’m not touching it. And when I do (to clean it with saline), it hurts sooososoososo bad. It doesn’t look infected or anything. there’s no swelling or puss so I’m not sure if the pain is normal.
