I want to make sure I have the process down correctly please if anyone wants to chime in. Been reading lots but theres so many opinions lol. Few minor questions as well. Never bleached before.

I have purchased the following:

- Hally Totally Clean Bleach, which has purple toning cream bleach, aloe vera developer, and some deep conditioner stuff (2 boxes)

- Olaplex no°4 fine bond maintenance shampoo (my hair is thick but fine)

- Olaplex no°5 fine bond maintenance conditioner

- Olaplex no°3 plus complete repair treatment

My current understanding and plan is that I mix the bleach and developer together as the included instructions say and then coat my hair in it while wearing the included gloves. I don't have brushes or special combs, but im led to believe that doing it with just my gloved hands should be ok. Right? And I want it toothpaste thick on the hair.

It says to do everything but the roots first and save the roots for last, which sounds like it makes sense. Wait 35-45mins, no more than 45 max.

Also, should I do damp hair or dry hair? I see conflicting info on that and aren't super sure on the difference. My hair isn't brittle, but it is quite dry and fine. Gets frizzy if I blowdry.

Then rinse specifically with lukewarm water - is cold bad? I know hot is bad, but what about cold? My tub is basically hot or cold, lukewarm is a challenge but probably doable if I really can't use water on the colder side. Might just need to run my hot water mostly empty first.

Then it says to shampoo before using the included conditioner - this is another question spot. I had read that shampooing directly after is baaaad unless its special shampoo, but this just says any shampoo. Should I use the fancy olaplex stuff for that step? Or my sulfate free coconut oil shampoo?

And for the conditioner step - should I use the included deep conditioner or the fancy olaplex stuff instead?

I don't think I plan to color it today, as its gonna be late by the time im done as it is and im tired lol. So no worries about the conditioner messing up a color attempt, just gonna bleach for today.

Oh - and I did shower around 5 hours ago and washed my hair with sulfate free shampoo and some hydrating/restoring conditioner, but nothin fancy. I see conflicting answers on if I should bleach the same day due to possible scalp irritation. If not today though ill have to wait 3 days and I don't really wanna do that if I can do it today but I will if theres a much bigger risk of damaging my hair or something.

I know the Olaplex complete repair treatment stuff is for before shampooing, so I guess I skip that today since Ill be shampooing the bleach out, right? Use that next time I shower instead?
