Controller disconnecting PC

Anyone else having issues with their controller randomly disconnecting and reconnecting on PC? I'm running the Gamesir g7 8k and I'm not encountered this issue with any other game. Drivers and firmware are all updated, cable has been changed and I even plugged the Wi-Fi dongle directly into my PC to rule out cable and charging base. It's really random and doesn't happen during times that are particularly demanding like big fights. It's just a minor annoyance.
