GTA 6 might change gaming more than any game in the last decade
Everyone talks about GTA 6 because of the graphics, but I think the biggest impact will be on the entire gaming industry.
If Rockstar delivers on what people are expecting, I think we’ll see:
Higher expectations for open-world detail and NPC behavior.
More studios delaying games because players will compare everything to GTA 6.
Bigger investments in immersive worlds instead of just larger maps.
More creators making GTA content than almost any other game.
A new standard for what people expect from AAA games.
I also think GTA 6 will bring a lot of people back to gaming who haven’t played in years, similar to what GTA V did. The online mode alone could stay relevant for many years if Rockstar supports it well.
