Tarp for desert section

Hello. I'm planning on the PCT next year. For the desert, I'm looking to take a tarp of some kind to use as a groundsheet for cowboy camping, and a shelter if it rains - no tent. I'd be grateful for suggestions from anyone who has done this. Thanks!
