Can I make my psyker look cooler?

So I just started the game recently and I made a psyker character, which gives my dude a hood, but I don't want a hood, as I think it changes the vibe off of Glorious Lord Captain to secret shadowy figure and that's not why I'm here.

Can I take the hood off?
