What are my options?

Throw away for obvious reasons.

Went to a pearle vision Thanksgiving week 2025. Got a new prescription that improved a bit, which for my age of 42 I was told isn't too abnormal. Ordered 2 pairs of regular glasses and 1 pair of sunglasses. The next 7 months can only be described as chaos.

To make this story short, I had to go back to the store 9 times. Glasses came back scratched twice, once looked like a dragonfly wing which I was told was due to overheating the frames, they never measured my optical center so couldn't see out of them and another time they had to go back because the lens fell out during adjustment and the store manager couldn't get it back in.

Around early April, I stopped in another pearle vision store also owned by west point optical, who said the frames on the pair I was wearing were too small for my face. I should get a full refund and new glasses to my satisfaction. They referred me to the regional manager who after repeated attempts to contact, was finally able to get ahold of in June.

Went to the original store to meet her. She helped me get my frames to a point where I could at least use the glasses. She asked me multiple times if I was satisfied, which after 10 seconds of wearing them, who knows. She then offered me $100 for my troubles. When I asked about the full refund another of her stores told me I should get, she said no. I asked to return them and she said no. The store manager there was fired for what reasons I'm unaware but she also told me I was never charged for my lenses and there for I am already getting a phenomenal deal. None of that is my issue. In the end, I paid just under $900 for a prescription, 2 pairs of regular glasses that 1 doesn't fit and causes headaches, 1 pair of sunglasses which are fine and a pair of trial contacts that weren't the right prescription.

Ive been wearing glasses 35 years and have done this a few times. Been to this store before but never will again. This store is 25 minutes from my house so I've literally wasted a 12-15 hours on this. I called pearle vision corporate who pushed it back onto the franchise.

So I figured I'd ask here. What would you guys do in my shoes?
